Green Beans with Roasted Peanuts

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 1/8 cup roasted peanuts, chopped

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Par-boil green beans in salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In saute pan, melt butter and add green beans and peanuts. Saute until green beans are tender. Turn off heat and add lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
