What you need to make this dish: – fettucine – butter – onion – pumpkin puree – milk or cream – nutmeg – Parmesan cheese – fresh sage – salt and pepper to taste

Start by cooking the pasta and drain it, reserving some pasta water. Meanwhile, sauté the onion in melted butter until it is translucent.

Add the pumpkin puree, milk (or cream), nutmeg, and Parmesan and whisk to combine. Season with salt and pepper. Then thin out the sauce with the reserved pasta water if needed and toss in the pasta.
