These fun Tequila and Lime Sugar Cookies have all the yummy flavours of a margarita baked into a sweet little treat! Make these as is or replace the tequila with water for a family-friendly treat.

– Flour – Butter (softened) – Sugar – Egg – Tequila – Lime zest – Salt
Additional Icing Ingredients:
– Meringue powder – Lime juice – Water – Icing sugar

Start by creaming together the butter and sugar in a stand mixer (or using a hand mixer).

Mix in tequila, egg, salt and lime zest.

Slowly add the flour until the dough comes together.

Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and form them into disks. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
