This Peppermint Syrup Recipe is made with only 3 ingredients and takes just minutes to make! It is the perfect addition to coffee, hot chocolate and cocktails.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, add all of the syrup ingredients except the peppermint extract. Simmer together for about 5 minutes, whisking often until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Remove from heat and whisk in the peppermint extract. Let it cool.
