1 sausagecooked and sliced into bite sized pieces (optional)
3 cups frozen vegetable mix (carrots, corn, peas)
400g frozen tortellini
1 teaspoon dry basil
1 tablespoon parsleychopped
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
salt and pepper
2 cups spinachchopped (optional)
Instructions
Bring broth to a boil and add frozen vegetables, tortellini, and basil. If adding sausage, add it now as well. Cook until tortellini is cooked through.
Stir cornstarch into milk and add to the soup. Add spinach, if desired and parsley and stir until soup thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
