These Baked Green Bean Fries make a great healthy alternative to traditional French fries. These panko-coated green beans are baked not fried and so easy to make!
Preheat oven to 425F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a shallow dish, mix the flour, paprika, 1 teaspoon salt and pepper.
In a separate shallow dish, whisk the eggs.
In a third shallow bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon salt and Italian seasoning.
First dip the green beans in the flour mixture, ensuring they are coated well. Then dip the floured green beans into the egg and finally into the panko breadcrumbs.
Spread the breaded green beans onto the baking sheet so that they are not overlapping and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve as is or with your favourite dip!
