Heat olive oil in a skillet and add the onion. Saute on medium heat until onions begin to turn translucent.
Add the ground turkey and cook for a few minutes, being sure to break up any large pieces.
Place the remaining ingredients in the bowl of a slow cooker. Add the sauteed turkey and onions and mix it all together.
Place the slow cooker lid on and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
