Homemade Apple Pie

This delicious homemade apple pie has a perfectly sweetened and saucy apple filling and flaky, buttery crust. Making a homemade apple pie from scratch is easier than you think!

Ingredients: – Apples – Vanilla extract – Sugar: equal parts white and brown sugar – Flour and Cornstarch – Cinnamon and nutmeg  – Flour – Salt – Butter

Start by adding sliced apples, vanilla extract, sugar, flour, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt to a bowl and mixing it all together.

Next, add flour, salt and butter to a food processor and pulse to form a coarse meal.

Add water to form the pie dough. Then transfer it to a well floured surface.

Separate the dough into two portions and form them into disks. Then roll out your pie crusts.

Place one pie crust into the bottom of a pie plate and top with the apple filling.

Top with the other pie crust or cut the second pie crust into strips to form a lattice crust. Then seal the edges.
