Delicious, chewy chocolate chip granola bars made right in your own home, without any preservatives! So easy to make and much healthier for you, you'll never feel the need to buy them again!
Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar and honey and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
In a large bowl, combine, the oats, rice krispies, and hemp seeds. Add the honey mixture and toss to combine. Let cool for a couple of minutes and then stir in the chocolate chips.
Firmly press the mixture into the pan. Bake for 15 minutes.* Let cool completely and then refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours before cutting into bars. Keep refrigerated.
Notes
*if you like a firmer bar, after slicing, return to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes.
