Holiday Cocktail with Cranberry

This Holiday Cocktail with Cranberry is perfect for festive occasions! My easy to make cocktail features cranberry juice for a gorgeous color and perfect seasonal flavor! Leave out the liquor for an equally delicious mocktail!

To me, cranberries bring instant festivity to any recipe and that is especially true when it comes to cocktails. This holiday cocktail with cranberry is ultra festive and wonderfully sweet with a hint of tartness from cranberry juice.

If you are looking for a holiday cocktail to serve up at to adults at your gathering, this one delivers. Not only is it super pretty with its pink hue, but its also easy to make using easy to find ingredients.

No complicated steps here either – I mean, who needs complicated this time of year? Not even a simple syrup to be made. Just juices, gin and ginger ale.

I like this holiday cocktail because it delivers a taste that is sure to please most pallets. It isn’t strong tasting at all. Instead, it has more a fruity flavour which I find more pleasing, as do most people in my circle.

It can also be served up as a mocktail- just leave out the gin!

How to make this simple holiday cocktail

  1. Add the cranberry juice, gin, orange juice, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake.

  2. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with ginger ale and serve.

  3. Enjoy!

How to garnish your cocktails for some festive flair!

Since this cocktails features cranberries and citrus juices, I like to garnish these holiday cocktails with cranberries and orange peel.

You can simply add a few fresh cranberries to your serving glass or place them on a cocktail pick like I have in the photos. [Tip: you can skewer the cranberries onto cocktail picks ahead of time and place them in the fridge until you are ready to use them. This is a great time saver!]

I also add an orange peel twirl. Check out the video by Steve the Bartender below for how to use orange peel to garnish cocktails!

If making orange peel twirls seems too difficult, you can also add a slice of orange into your glass!

I hope you enjoy this Holiday Cocktail with Cranberry as much as we do! Enjoy responsibly!

Cheers and Happy Holidays!
