Chili Lime Baked Fish Tacos are an easy and healthy recipe that’s ready in under 20 minutes! This recipe works with any fish filet, so feel free to use your favourite!
If you love fish tacos, then this recipe is one for you! Often when I order fish tacos, I am looking for a healthy, flavourful meal. While there are plenty of fried fish tacos out there, baked and light versions are my favourite.
This is definitely one of those recipes I prefer. It is light and full of bright, fresh flavours.
Top these tacos with fresh veggies, avocado or a bright coleslaw and you have a dinner that is sure to please!
Ingredients in Chili Lime Baked Fish Tacos
- Fish fillets
- Lime
- Butter
- Chili powder
- Salt and pepper
- Small tortillas
How to make baked fish tacos
- Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange fillets on baking sheet and salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix lime juice, butter, chili powder. Pour mixture on top of fish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
- Break up fish into smaller strips and assemble on tortillas with your favourite toppings. c

- coleslaw
- Mango Avocado Salsa
- fresh veggies (lettuce, tomatoes)
- avocado
- fresh cilantro
- sour cream or avocado crema
- cilantro sauce (chopped cilantro, lime juice, mayonnaise and Greek yogurt mixed together)

Ingredients
- 4 halibut fillets or favourite fish fillets
- 1 lime juiced
- 3 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small tortillas
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange filets on baking sheet and salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix lime juice, butter, chili powder. Pour mixture on top of fish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
- Break up fish into smaller strips and assemble on tortillas with your favourite toppings. Our go to’s are coleslaw, chopped tomatoes, cilantro and avocados. Drizzle on your favourite sauce (I used a homemade cilantro sauce I made by mixing chopped cilantro, lime juice, mayonnaise and greek yogurt. That’s it!
