Turkey Burgers with Light Creamy Coleslaw

These healthy, homemade turkey burgers are juicy and herby and oh so yummy! Paired with a healthy creamy slaw, this easy to make burger recipe is a hit!

We love a good burger around here. Especially my hubby! If a week has gone by without one, he is declaring that we need to rectify the situation asap. Homemade burgers are therefore on frequent rotation around here!

We don’t like to eat takeout often and aim to cook at home where we can control the ingredients (definitely helps me avoid trigger foods as I have a list of food sensitivities) and it helps us reduce the sodium in many of our favourite takeout meals. Homemade burgers is something easy to do and the results are always delicious!

We are no strangers to making burgers. I have my favourite recipe for homemade beef burgers on the site as well as salmon patties (which we use for burgers too)! Today, I am sharing with you another favourite of ours- Turkey Burgers!

I am always looking for ways to lighten things up in our meals and make them a bit healthier. Ground turkey is always in stock and stored in our freezer because it is my favourite substitute in many of our favourite meals. It’s lean and healthy and tastes delicious! And these burgers deliver just that!

Add to them a (light) creamy coleslaw, and it is one satisfying meal! The hubby agrees, but there’s no surprise there!
