Chicken Noodle Casserole

This super easy Chicken Noodle Casserole is a deliciously simple meal that is sure to satisfy all the picky eaters in the house! Transform your leftover chicken or store-bought rotisserie chicken into a comforting, complete meal.

Leftover chicken is one of my favourite kinds of leftovers. There is so much to make with it and this Chicken Noodle Casserole is one of my go-tos!

Creamy, cheesy and satisfying.

It is also incredibly easy to make too! We always have noodles in the cupboard and frozen veggies in our freezer. Add some seasonings and kitchen staples and we have a dinner that we love on the table in less than an hour!

Ingredients needed to make Chicken Noodle Casserole

  • Egg noodles
  • Frozen vegetables
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Milk
  • Seasoning: chicken base, thyme, ground sage, salt and pepper
  • Parmesan
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Chicken or turkey, cooked and chopped

How to make Chicken Noodle Casserole

  1. Preheat oven at 350F.

  2. Cook noodles according to package directions. In the last minute, add frozen vegetables. Drain.

  3. Meanwhile, melt butter and add flour to create a roux. Add milk and whisk to thicken. Add remaining ingredients and continue whisking until combined and thick. Chop the turkey or chicken and add to sauce.

  4. Mix sauce and noodles and place in a baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package egg noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen vegetables
