The Best Banana Muffins

This deliciously tender banana muffins recipe is so easy to make! It’s our go-to recipe for the perfect, moist muffin!

Is there anyone out there that doesn’t love a banana baked goodie? Banana treats are among my favourites and banana bread and muffins top the list as the absolute best way to use up bananas.

I get super excited when we get spotty, overripe bananas around here. It doesn’t happen often enough, as far as I am concerned! But when it happens, you can bet banana muffins or bread are in our near future! There is something so cozy and comforting about a banana baked good and I am always – ALWAYS – up for it!

I have tried many banana muffin recipes in the past, but none compare to this one! After recipe testing and tweaking my favourite banana recipe I finally achieved what I think is the best banana muffin (and banana bread too as I use this recipe to make banana bread). The right amount of sweetness and the perfect banana flavour- perfection, you guys!

To start, preheat the oven to 350F and line a 12 cup muffin tin with muffin liners or lightly grease a silicon muffin tray.

In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Then add all of the remaining ingredients together until well combined.

Scoop into the muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full. Top with sliced banana slices (optional). Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on a cooling rack.

That’s it! Easy, right?

I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!!

Bon appetit!

  1. My husband loved these banana muffins! I added chocolate chips to half of my batch and it was a hit. It’s also super easy to make and I love that it can all be done in one bowl (less clean-up yay!)
