We love a good salad around here and this one is one of our favourites! Simple in ingredients (and ones we usually already have on hand) and so incredibly quick to put together. That’s my kind of side dish!
This salad gives off lovely, simple Greek flavours similar to a Greek salad. Good quality olive oil, oregano and feta cheese. Yes please to all of the above! It’s probably my Greek girl genes coming into play here but I am always down for some feta.

This salad is simple and healthy. Cucumbers make up the majority of this salad. They are not only low in calories but they are a great way to hydrate. Cucumbers are linked to a whole host of health benefits. Its a source of antioxidants and is rich in a number of vitamins (including Vitamin A, B, magnesium and potassium, among others).
Add to the that the benefits from olive oil, onion and oregano and you know that you are nourishing your body with each bite!
How to make Cucumber Feta Salad
This salad is so easy to make and uses simple ingredients you likely already have on hand.
For this Cucumber Feta Salad, you will need:
- cucumber, chopped into bite sized pieces
- red onion, sliced
- feta, crumbled
- olive oil
- red wine vinegar
- dried oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
To make the salad, you just needed to chop the cucumber and onions and then toss them in a bowl with all of the ingredients. That is literally it. See what I mean about this being the easiest salad?

Cucumber Feta Salad
1 large cucumber (or about 6 mini cucumbers), chopped into bite sized pieces
1/2 red onion, sliced
1/4 cup feta, crumbled
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
- Chop cucumbers into bite sized pieces. Place in a bowl and add all the remaining ingredients. Toss together to ensure salad is well mixed. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
